December 12th. 2018
Since the opening of the large gay Ritual hotel in 2017, many new festivals are being organized. Torremolinos has become the new seaside hot-spot in Spain. The main gay area is in La Nogalera, an open air shopping type complex. There are also several very nice gay bars & cafés in the Pueblo Blanco area, which is just a short distance from La Nogalera, as well as a couple more at the gay beach.
Torremolinos also has a very good lesbian scene.
Torremolinos is one of Spain’s low cost destinations, with countless possibilities for day trips to places like Gibraltar, Morocco, the ski resorts of Sierra Nevada, Malaga City etc.
Malaga airport is just 10 minutes by a direct train line from central Torremolinos, so it is very easy and inexpensive to get over here for a short break.
